GERMANY ~ Berchtesgaden National Park - UNESCO ~

... Wonderful view of the only Alpine national park in Germany and one of the oldest protected areas in the Alps.... deep forests, rugged cliffs, glaciers but also peaceful green pastures and idyllic valleys... which makes it a haven for walkers and mountain trekking.... one of the main attractions of the park is Konigssee and it is considered to be the cleanest lake in Germany....famous for the filming locations of the movie "The Sound of Music"... but also home to Hitler’s Eagle’s Nest retreat... Thanks a lot Melanie!!✿◕ ‿ ◕✿
